Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Salvo — what you can expect from the service, and what we expect from you.
Last updated 28 August 2026
1.Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Salvo AI (“Salvo”, “we”, “us”) and the salvoapp.io website and application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms.
2.The Service
Salvo provides tools for market research, storefront generation, advertising creative, campaign publishing, and automated customer-support triage. Features change over time; we may add, modify or discontinue parts of the Service, and will give reasonable notice before removing functionality you materially depend on.
3.Accounts
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at support@salvoapp.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
4.Your content
You retain all rights to the content you submit — products, brand material, research, imagery and copy. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We claim no ownership of your content and will not use it to train generalised AI models.
You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, including imagery, trademarks and product claims.
5.Connected accounts
The Service can act on your behalf on third-party platforms you connect, including Google, Meta and Shopify. You authorise us to take those actions, and you remain bound by each platform’s own terms. We are not responsible for a third-party platform changing its API, suspending your account, or rejecting content you publish through us. You can disconnect any account at any time.
6.AI-generated output
You are solely responsible for the legal and regulatory compliance of material you publish — including advertising standards, product and health claims, consumer protection law, and platform policy. Salvo is a tool, not a compliance review.
7.Automated customer support
The support feature can classify inbound email, draft replies, and — only where you explicitly enable it — send replies and cancel orders without further review. This deserves particular care:
- Mailboxes start paused with every intent set to draft. Automatic sending is off until you turn it on.
- Replies sent from your connected mailbox are your communications with your customers. You are responsible for their content, whether a person approved them or automation sent them.
- Order cancellation moves money. Enabling it for automatic handling means orders may be cancelled and refunded without a person reviewing the request first.
- We recommend reviewing drafts for a meaningful period, per intent, before enabling any automatic sending.
You are responsible for compliance with laws governing commercial and automated email in the jurisdictions where your customers are located.
8.Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
- produce deceptive advertising, false product or health claims, or content designed to mislead consumers;
- send unsolicited bulk email, or otherwise use a connected mailbox for spam;
- impersonate any person or organisation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, or to probe, scan or disrupt our infrastructure;
- resell or redistribute the Service without our written agreement.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
9.Fees
Paid plans are billed in advance on the interval shown at purchase and renew automatically until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. We will give reasonable advance notice of price changes. You are separately responsible for costs you incur on connected platforms, such as advertising spend.
10.Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, design, and documentation — belongs to Salvo and its licensors. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service, and nothing more. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation or compensation.
11.Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if providing the Service to you becomes commercially impracticable — with notice where circumstances allow. On termination your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
12.Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that using Salvo will produce any particular business result.
13.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salvo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — including losses arising from advertising spend, cancelled or refunded orders, or communications sent to your customers through the Service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the above applies to the maximum extent permitted.
14.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Salvo harmless from claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, your use of the Service, your communications with your customers, or your breach of these terms.
15.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, and you and Salvo consent to that venue.
16.Changes
We may revise these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the application or by email before taking effect, and the “last updated” date above will change. Continuing to use Salvo after that means you accept the revised terms.
